During the fifteen weeks of this semester, we will explore many different ways of examining the ideas of power and success.  This exploration will look at the joys and the pains associated with the pursuit of power and success, as well as perspectives from ancient thoughts on the theme to more modern interpretations.  We will look at what it takes to be powerful and successful as scholars, as readers and writers, as professionals, as family members, as friends, and as human beings.  Our examination will cover quite a bit of territory.

This website is where you will find content for ENG 111C - the syllabus, course calendar (assignments and deadlines), units and modules (complete with handouts and more), as well as information for ENG 108 (as much as Mrs. Bernthal choses to put here).  Online discussions will occur in Desire 2 Learn, and your grades will be posted on Engrade's website.  Otherwise, everything you need to be successful will be found here.
